Fortnite is an incredibly popular game among players. Learn the basics of Fortnite here so you can quickly score a Victory Royale!
1 Learn To Build
If you're just starting out in Fortnite, you need to know how to build. Building can be useful for many things, like creating defenses while rebooting (reviving) a teammate.
2 Practice in Creative Mode
Before playing Battle Royale, try out Creative Mode! You can practice building and shooting until you're more comfortable with them. This will give you an advantage in the game.
3 Work in Teams
Start off by playing in squads instead of going solo. Follow your teammates around and watch what they do. Let them take the lead in battles, but try to help out yourself.
4 Don't Dive into Combat
Don't immediately go for enemies. Try to avoid combat if you can, and only fight if another player is attacking you and you can't get away. Don't try to intrude on people who are already fighting- leave them.
5 Land in Less Populated Areas
Lots of people immediately jump off the Battle Bus when they get the chance, which kills them pretty quickly. Drop when there's about 3 or 4 seconds left and land near trees or small buildings.
6. Know your loot areas
Some areas house lots of loot. A lot of these are quite far out on the Battle Bus journey, so find them and try to land there occasionally. However, lots of experienced players land there, so be careful!
7. Buy Battle Passes, not skins.
If you want to spend your V-Bucks, you should do it on the Battle Pass. It will get you lots of good skins, emotes and items, plus a lot more V-Bucks back to spend on the individual skins you want!
8. Thank the bus driver
Thank the driver. They make the Royales possible, so you might as well be friendly.
